UPDATE 05/22/13 MORNING

[.~SpecialAgentGibbs] We have continually felt the power of prayer covering our presence at Ground Zero. Today, we distributed bottled water, well over 100 pots of coffee, Gatorade and 100+ cups hot cocoa. We provided a bank of chargers for emergency response personnel, media and law enforcement to re-charge cell phones. And, of course, mutiple opportunities surface to share God's grace. Tomorrow, we'll meet with directions of the relief centers and the Chief Chaplain of the SBC Emergency Response Team. As crews are assembled and dispatched to go do-to-door for clean-up, we'll be supporting their efforts by tending to relief workers' needs, and supplementing ministry to victims. We will also commence coordination of receipt, staging and distribution of truck loads of donated supplies. With the outpouring of love and generosity from the immediately surrounding areas, we believe it best to focus on continued ministry efforts and monetary contributions, so we can respond to any shortcomings in relief worker or victim needs. By the end of the day, we should have a better grasp of how the remainder of clean-up efforts will proceed. As we continue to serve, coordinating the efforts of multiple ministries and college volunteers, our deepest gratitude goes out to all that have covered us in prayer and given so freely of their resources to support those efforts.
