HERE is the FORM all who Exchange Currency must be COMPLETED by the BANK and YOU sign: Currency Transaction Report OMB No. 1506-0004 FINCEN Form 104 (March 2011) (Complete all parts that apply--See Instructions) 1 Check all box(es) that apply:

DOWNLOAD the .pdf from this .gov website - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

STUDY THE FORM - FILL IT OUT AS BEST YOU CAN - TO NOT ONLY SAVE TIME - BUT ALSO TO BE FAMILIAR WITH THE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS.

As you review/study the form... NOTE: The box that refers to CURRENCY EXCHANGE. (ask your banking relationship manager to explain fully the importance of selecting and checking that CURRENCY EXCHANGE box) and sign nothing until you understand it fully.

Of course, it would be wise to visit your banking relationship manager BEFORE your appointment for your CE. If not, cordially ask for a full explanation of the FINCEN Form 104.

Be sure to request 2 fully executed (signed) ORIGINALS for your files.

Actually, I needed a choice between Yes & No... I have printed it out & read over it, but haven't filled it out... some of it is a little confusing, but I'm confident I can figure it out... anyway, thanks for the link to the form & your advice...

THANK YOU sooo much .dinarmama7 for your encouraging comment, dear. Many folks seem to appreciate the information and are definitely taking POSITIVE ACTION right now to prepare for their appointment. It is WONDERFUL how so many are showing their progress by checking the appropriate box at the TOP of the screen. The percentages kind of "show us where people are" right now.

This appears to be only for institutions such as banks to fill out when they send in currency. It does not pertain to individuals doing a currency exchange. Go to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to check it out for yourselves.
